JEE Main 2017

JEE Main 2017: Here comes the JEE Main 2017 Examination and it is the Joint Entrance Examination via a two-tier examination (Main & Advanced) regulated by the Board of CBSE( Central Board of Secondary Education) in India. Results For JEE Main and JEE Advanced is conducted by CBSE Board via Differents Dates.The college participating in JEE Main are Usually NITs, IIITs and other institutions who offer UG engineering/architecture programs whereas IITs offer these courses through JEE Advanced exam.

Eligibility
  • Candidates must have an at least 75% marks or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th Class Examination conducted by respective boards.
  • For Reservation Category of SC/ST students, this condition shall be relaxed to 65% marks.
  • However,12th boards marks will not be given 40% weight age in 2017 for calculation of ranks as in the selection criteria for admission in an IIT for 2016. Rest of the selection process will remain unchanged for admission in IITs in 2017.

There will be schedule in 2 Papers format for the Examination and The Paper 1 will consist a total of about 90 objective type questions from the basic subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. Meanwhile, Paper 2 will consist a total of about 82 questions out of which 30 questions from mathematics, 50 questions from aptitude test and 2 questions of drawing test.
